Energy efficient

Drawing less than 50watts on full power, power draw is greatly reduced, providing the user with the ability to run up to 80 fixtures from one 16amp feed (at 240volts)

satellite LED fixture

Additive colour mixing is more efficient than filtering an initial white light source. Power draw is proportionate to the use so in blackout the device draws hardly any power at all.

Luxeon RGB leds.

We use Philips lumileds high flux luxeon leds. Six per colour, luxeon I’s for the red wavelength and Luxeon III’s for royal blue and greens.

Heat dissipation.

A finned heatsink provides proper thermal management for the leds ensuring long term use over years of normal operation.

Self Contained.

Mechanically, the fixture has been designed specifically for the rigors of touring and general hire use. This device is completely self contained with the power and control section built into the device.

Built in user interface.

An intuitive design based upon an LCD display with four ‘soft’ switches allowing for very setup.

In built functions.

  • Dmx addressing:The display shows an ‘at a glance’ dmx value. Address simply by pressing the 100’s,10’s and units button to the desired number. The address then auto stores.
  • Operating mode:The display shows one of two operating modes, which is simply adjusted.
  • 3 channel RGB: 5 channel master, strobe rate and RGB.
  • Strobing: 5 channel mode introduces an overall strobe channel which provides a stunning range of colour strobing effects. Full intensity provides a constant, which when reduced creates a variable super fast strobing function.

Dimmer response

A smooth low end response, ensures subtle fades do not suffer from dmx ‘jitter’.

Beam angle

The fixture beam angle is six degrees in a circular dispersion.

Beam shaping accessories

We provide a simple clip on accessory holder fitted with a holographic film, which refracts the beam to the desired level. Three beam angles are offered as standard, with the option to become more adventurous as your design requires.

Connectivity

Neutrik 5pin chassis mounted xlr’s are fitted for dmx data in and out.

Neutrik Powercon connectors provide a power input and daisy chain output for easily connecting adjacent fixtures.

Data

Dmx 512 input, when data is not present the lcd backlight flashes intermittently for easy identification of the loss of data.

Power

16amp daisy chain output, Powercon input. Fixture supplied with 1.5metre Powercon cable as standard.

Global specification power supply with 100volt to 240 volt auto sensing input, easily used in places like Japan running at 100volts.

Stand alone functionality.

The LCD display allows a quick store function, which takes a snapshot of your colour and asks to store as one of up to 20 memories.

Static memories are easily recalled, when run in manual mode.

A chase sequence can be created by choosing a start and stop memory. Fade times are capable of adjustment from two seconds to four minutes transition time.

DMX output is included, providing a feed to adjacent fixtures, effectively making the first unit in the dmx string a master device.

Safety

We have provided a dedicated dual clip safety bond point to aid rigging, with the fixture designed to take heavy duty safety bonds.

IP rating 20

Flightcases

We have consulted with a variety of flightcase manufacturers to offer our customers a range of flightcase options suited to your specific requirements. Other designs can be sought upon request.
